The Big Christmas Feast

Goal: Our goal is to provide 2 Christmas Dinners for 100 very needy families in the St. Charles area; 1 sit down meal on Friday December 16^th, and 1 Christmas Feast care package for Christmas Day.

When:  On Friday evening December 16^th at 6:30 p.m. we will present a dinner at The Outpost Church for these needy families.  (Dinner 1)  Each family will enjoy this dinner, and then leave with their Christmas Feast care package.  (Dinner 2)

Need:  Any of the following items will be a great blessing in helping us achieve this goal:

• Any non-perishable food items that would contribute to a wonderful Christmas feast:
• Can goods
• Box goods such as rice, powdered potatoes, powdered milk, macaroni and cheese, etc.
• Canned or bottled drinks – soda, water, Gatorade, etc.
• Financial donations will help us purchase additional items we will need for each care package.
• We would like to give each family a Christmas turkey or ham.
• We can purchase 15 pound turkeys for about $10.00 each.
• A donation of $100.00 would buy 10 Christmas turkeys for 10 different families.
• All donations are tax deductable if made payable to The Big Feast.
• 100% of every donation will go directly to the purchase of food for this event.

Where:  Food or donations can be dropped off at The Outpost Church on:

• Friday night December 9^th  5:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Saturday December 10^th  9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
• Sunday December 11^th  9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon

The number of families we are able to bless in the name of Christ will be determined by the amount of food we are able to collect.
