Saturday and Sunday Meals

For over 10 years we have served meals on Saturday afternoon at 4:00pm at the Salvation Army Parking lot in north St Charles. Now with the help of our friends Dan & Peggy Neubert we are proud to announce a meal on Sundays at 4:00pm also. Dan and Peggy have a ministry called Luke923 and their web address is http://www.Luke-923.org

Please go to their web address and you will see the great work God has them doing. They are truly wonderful servants of God.

Along with providing meals the those in need each weekend we also hope to provide them with other much needed items. If you can help with any of these items please let us know here or at the Luke-923 site. You will find a list below of the type of items we are looking for…

 

Need:  Any of the following items will be a great blessing in helping us achieve this goal:

  • Any non-perishable food items
  • Can goods, Box goods such as rice, powdered potatoes, powdered milk, macaroni and cheese, etc.
  • Canned or bottled drinks – soda, water, Gatorade, etc.
  • High Protein energy bars
  • Nuts of any kind
  • Socks and Underwear always helps those who are homeless (New items only)
  • Granola bars, breakfast/protein bars
  • Crackers (animal crackers, graham crackers, saltines etc)
  • Potato chips and pretzels (individual serving sizes preferred)
  • Dried fruits (raisins, craisins, mixed fruits)
  • Peanuts, trail mix
  • Snack pack puddings and jellos
  • Fruit cups, individual applesauce
  • Juice boxes
  • “Soup at hand” type ready to eat soups
  • Non-refrigerated tuna lunch packsWhere: 
  • Shaving cream
  • Disposable razors, men’s and women’s
  • Dental floss
  • Deodorant
  • Lotion
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Body wash
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Antibacterial cream
  • Bandaids
  • Financial donations will help us purchase additional items we will need for each care package.
  • All donations are tax deductable if made payable to The Big Feast.
  • 100% of every donation will go directly to the purchase of food for this event. We have no paid staff.
